Obituary of Dora Jean Stevens

Dora Jean Stevens, 82, of Windsor, formerly of Greeley passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021 in Windsor. She was born November 17, 1938 in Longmont, CO to Carl and Anna (Brehm) Adler. She grew up on a farm in the Mead area and graduated from Mead High School. On December 15, 1956 she married Eddie Stevens at the Platteville Methodist Church. The couple moved to La Salle and then to Greeley in 1963. Dora was a homemaker and worked for many years as a bookkeeper for Western Foods. She enjoyed her arts and craft projects, flower and vegetable gardening, yardwork, and sewing. She is survived by her daughter Carol Stevens and husband Tom Flores of Evans and her son James Stevens of Greeley; her granddaughter Aspen Flores of Evans, CO, her brother Irvin Adler of Mead, CO and her sister Ruth Felker and husband Danny of Loveland. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her sisters Evelyn and Delores, and her beloved dog Sady. A visitation will be Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 2:00p.m. until 4:00p.m. at Adamson Life Celebration Home. A Life Celebration will be Monday, November 8, 2021 at 11:00a.m. at Adamson.
