Arlene Pablita Jaramillo Farmer, 83, of Greeley passed away Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Fairacres Manor with her family by her side. She was born October 29, 1936 in Antonito, CO to Candido and Pablita (Lopez) Jaramillo where she grew up.
Arlene graduated from Antonito High School and met Harold Farmer, Sr. They were married in 1956 in Antonito. She worked as a nurse, after putting herself through nursing school, at the Little Rock VA and then transferred to the Cheyenne, WY VA. She later moved to Greeley and worked at Fairacres Manor, retiring from a long career of serving others. She would later move to Fairacres where she received the care that she provided to the residents for so many years until her passing.
She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, crossword puzzles, reading, collecting antiques and being surrounded by people. She worshipped at Our Lady of Peace.
Survivors include her children; Wayne (Janet) Farmer, David (Kayla) Farmer, Sandra (James) Copeland and Cathy (Kenny) Vosburg, 13 grandchildren; Calvin and Brad Farmer, Meleaha Morris, David and Michael Farmer, Nicholas and Hannah Major, Charlie and Amanda Maldonado, Jeremy and Daniel Copeland, Stephanie Morgan and Christy Bacon; 23 great-grandchildren; siblings; Joe Jaramillo, Armando (Theresa) Jaramillo, Louis (Viola) Jaramillo, Beatrice Brown, Theresa Godfrey, Bob (Rita) Jaramillo and Pauline (Orlando) Vidales.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings; Candido and Paul Jaramillo, Hazel Lopez.
Life Celebration 11 a.m. Saturday at Adamson Life Celebration Home with a luncheon to follow.
