Damillion Jaize Chavez, 17, of Evans passed away October 14, 2019 in Eaton. He was born February 10, 2002 in Greeley to Tyrone Davis Chavez and Mandy Nichole (Cruz) Mora.
He grew up in the LaSalle/Gilcrest area, attending Valley High School. He enjoyed running; cross-country and track, boxing, writing and listening to music.
He had a very exceptional work ethic, was academically strong earning nothing less than straight A’s, had a beautiful, million-dollar smile and always took great pride in his appearance.
Thankful to have shared his life are his parents; Mandy (Isaac) Mora of Evans and Tyrone (Sonya) Chavez of Eaton, siblings; Tyrone Jr., Jordan, Madison and Christian Chavez, Alijah and Xaniyah Mora, grandparents; Tonja Chavez, Stephen Blea, Donna Haswell, Thomas Lopez, James and Lorie Mora and Olga Sanchez, great-grandparents; Elizabeth Ayala and Dolores Blea as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his cousin, Jose Aguero and great-grandparents Donald and Vivian Haswell and Oren Chavez.
Life Celebration 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 21 at Mosaic Church, Evans with visitation one hour prior. Interment Linn Grove Cemetery with a reception to follow at the church.
