Ryan Lee Clancy, 24, of Greeley, passed away in Greeley, Colorado on October 5, 2019. He was born to Jeremiah Clancy and Lisa (McKinley) Bowker on August 13, 1995 in Hays, Kansas.
If you were lucky enough to know him, you know how much he loved making others laugh, and making them happy. He was someone that you could confide in. He liked to get rowdy and party with his friends, but he also had a generous and loving heart, and would do pretty much anything for his friends. When he loved someone, he loved them deeply.
His sister Rebecca held a very special place in his heart. They stuck up for each other, and always got into mischief, not only as children, but also as adults. She was always taking care of him when he was very little, and that continued throughout his life. From the famous 'go kart incident' from their childhood, up through the deer stacking and laser tag adventures in recent years, they really enjoyed spending time together. He was always sending her snaps, videos, and memes to make her laugh. He did that with so many of his friends, too. When Ryan walked in the room, everything became better, and funnier.
Ryan enjoyed his Chevy truck and modifying it as much as he could afford to - the louder the better! He loved talking trucks and cars, and semis, with anyone who would listen. He loved the outdoors, and enjoyed going out target and clay shooting, especially at his grandparents' farm in Kansas. He often shared the most beautiful sunset photos, and of himself, living the trucker life. He obtained his CDL in September, and was happy to be 10 lug thuggin' with his best friend Nate. He enjoyed his video games, smoking some salmon on the Traeger, and hanging out with family and friends, including roughhousing with his brother in law Brodie. Ryan will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Ryan is survived by his parents, Jeremiah & Kristie Clancy, and Nathan & Lisa Bowker; siblings, Rebecca (Brodie) Van Allen, Ericka (Jared) Kingsbury, and Kaitlynn Kester; grandparents, Larry and Esther McKinley, Jeremiah (Josephine) Clancy Sr., and Kathleen Winther, and a large extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Great Grandparents Russell & Pauline McKinley, Grandmother Una Helman, and Grandfather Skip Winther.
Life celebration memorial will be held at 1 pm, Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 47th Avenue in Greeley.
