Frank D. Barrientes, 73, of Greeley, passed away in Loveland, Colorado on October 6, 2019. He was born to Frederico and Adelina (Davila) Barrientes on September 21, 1946 in Colorado City, Texas.
Frank moved around a lot when he was younger; moved to Plains, Texas, Michigan, Florida and finally settling in Colorado in 1971. He married Flora Hernandez in Plain, Texas on February 1, 1970.
Frank will be deeply missed by all that knew him. Frank loved to dance, fish and enjoyed a long distance drive. He was a huge Cowboys fan. Above all, he loved his family and friends. He was a hardworking, caring and a loving man that will be forever missed.
Frank is survived by his wife, Flora; children, Frank Jr. (Arlene) Barrientes, Terry Barrientes, Destiny(Ruben) Martinez and Keaira (Juan) Munaton; 16 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; siblings, Petra (Jose) Barrientes, Clovis (Severo) Moreno, Nina Rodriguez, Janie Barrientes, Carolina Alvarado, Thomas Barrientes and a very large extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Pricilla; his parents; siblings, Fred Jr., Santos, Joe, Alicia, and Anita.
The family will be receiving friends from 5-6 pm with a rosary following, Monday, October 14, 2019. Memorial service will be held at 10 am, Tuesday, October 15, 2019, both at Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 47th Avenue in Greeley.
