Obituary for Dale Kenneth Lund

Dale Lund was born December 15, 1938 in Riverton, Wyoming and passed away July 3, 2019.
He attended Riverton and Pavilion schools. His education centered around hunting, fishing and trapping.
He joined the U. S Navy in January of 57, serving on the destroyer USS Maddox and the USS Lowe.
He married Sharon Apgar on March 9, 1960 while still serving in the military and they lived in Oakland, Ca until January 1961 when they returned to Riverton.
He had two daughters, Michelle and Lisa. Dale worked on local construction projects and later started Teton Enterprises, a welding and pipe business. He later bought into Rainbow Sign, Inc. He followed DOE contracts, cleaning up uranium mill tailings in several western states, while maintaining a home in Grand Junction, Colorado, then moved to Greeley, Co in 2008 to be near their growing family. Dale and Sharon were married for 59 years.
He is survived by his wife Sharon, daughter Michelle ( Edwin) and three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Services will be held at Adamson Funeral Home in Greeley.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Doris Lund, sister Thelma Starks and daughter Lisa.
