Dale Lewis Archer, 6, of Fort Morgan, passed away on June 1, 2019 in Greeley, Colorado. He was born to Robert and Hertha (Winslow) Archer on August 27, 1952 in Sterling, Colorado.
Dale grew up all over Colorado and Arizona. He attended and graduated from Northglenn High School. He met and married Carol Jean Slater on February 21, 1977 in Yuma, Arizona.
Dale enjoyed fly fishing, hunting and riding his Goldwing Motorcycle. When Dale was not on the road during Christmas time, he loved and enjoyed being Santa. He was and amazing singer. Above all, he loved and adored his family, especially his grandchildren.
The day of his passing will be a day that the whole family will remember forever; the day of Dale’s passing, was also the day of his great grandson, Jacson’s birth. Dale’s passing and Jacson’s arrival occurred at the same hospital, North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley.
Dale is survived by his wife, Carol; children, Richard (Sarah) Rice, Bobby (Tami) Rice, Autumn (Hersh) Hines, Sarah Painter (John Aughinbaugh); 21 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren (and one on the way); sister, Bobbi (Neal) Hargrove; sister-in-laws, Dorothy Archer and Blanche Archer.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Doyle, Joan, Shirley, Phyllis, Ross and Kay.
