James Jacob Arias, 40, of Greeley, Colorado passed away on May 12, 2019. He was born to Joe and Katherine Arias on May 21, 1978 in Grant, Nebraska.
James lived in Greeley from the age of eight years old and attended Greeley West High School.
James’s greatest pride and joy were his children, Trenton, Colin and Addy. He had a passion for food and loved cooking for his family and friends. His energy and presence filled a room. He enjoyed playing pool and other sports including golf, fishing and especially wrestling. Colin notes his father’s sense of style included his numerous hats and shoes. He was a tough, gentle soul with a special place in his heart for stray animals. James was ambitious and talented in his career. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his parents, Joe and Kathy Arias; children, Trenton, Colin and Addy; brothers, Jeremy and Chris; his nieces, Celeste, Morgan and Maiyah and nephew, Eric. Also, his grandparents, Ascencion and Florencia Arias, Clyde and Shirly Barry all of Venango, Nebraska, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who love him deeply.
A Celebration of Life memorial will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, May 17, 2019 at Adamson Life Celebration Home in Greeley.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been placed in his name for his children. Donations can be made out to the family in care of Adamson‘s Life Celebration Home, 2000 47th Ave., Greeley, CO 80634.
