Glenda Romero, 63, of Greeley, passed away April 6, 2019 in Aurora, Colorado. She was born to Alfred and Elizabeth (Vigil) Hernandez on June 22, 1955 in Gilman, Colorado.
Glenda grew up in Colorado Springs and moved to Leadville in her later years.
Glenda loved to crochet and volunteered to coach basketball in the little league games. She was a foster parent and was a giver. She was known for her green chili and tortillas. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
Glenda is survived by her children, Kristi (Johnny) Esparza, Elaine (Louie) Romero and Francisco Romero; 10 grandchildren; siblings, Alveda (James) Pero, twin Brenda (Joseph) Furtado and John (Carol) Hernandez and numerous nieces and nephews.
Glenda was preceded in death by her father.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at Adamson Life Celebration Home. Life Celebration memorial will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday April 26, 2019, at St. Paul Congregational Church, 1525 43rd Avenue, Greeley.
