We are sorry to hear of the passing of Bum. I first met Bum working with him at Roger Schulz office during tax season and moved with him to the other businesses in town. I also cleaned the office and would bring the kids along and that is when Barb and Bum got to know the rest of my family. His joking was our favorite memory and the stories he would tell. He was the only person that could call our daughter Shelly and whenever I would see Bum in town he would always ask about Shelly. He will be missed by all who knew him and the memories we have of him will bring laughter and tears of joy. Bless you Barb and your family. Bob, Rhanda and Rochelle Nusbaum

I only remember meeting "Uncle Bum" once, during some trying family circumstances. I was just a kid but I recall thinking that he was such a cool guy. He drove us around in his Cadillac that had some of neatest gadgetry I'd seen in a car, which was a treat for a geeky kid like me at that age. It's funny the things we remember from childhood, but he had an impact even in that brief time together. Prayers for peace and condolences to the family.

To: Aunt Barabara, cousins, Teresa, Terry and Ted. Charlene called to tell me Uncle Bum had passed away. I hated hearing the news and wanted to reach out to all of you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Uncle Bum had the sharpest wit of anyone I’ve ever met. I had hoped for at least one last visit. My sincere sympathy goes to each of you. I loved my uncle, your dad, very much and will always have great respect and gratitude for everything he did to try to help my folks. Personally, I thank him for the love and laughter he brought into my world. Aunt Barbara, I thank you, too. Love to all, Margie and Cliff Layfield
