David H. Adolph, 87, of Windsor, passed away at Grace Pointe in Greeley, Colorado on February 5, 2019.
He was born to Jacob and Cora Ester (Mackey) Adolph on February 11, 1931 in Clifton, Arizona.
David served proudly as an Army Reserve.
David ran and owned his own successful plumbing business for many years, until his son, David L.
Adolph took over the business.
In his last years , he loved watching old western movies, especially starring Clint Eastwood. In his
younger years, he truly loved the outdoors; from hunting, fishing, and camping. He was a hard worker
and enjoyed his life on the farm, where he raised hay, horses and did lots of irrigation work. He once had
a tractor that he named PAL, he followed the life of that tractor even after he sold it and spoke of it often.
He and Hazel purchased a large RV and loved going to Las Vegas. They escaped Colorado’s cold winters
for a number of years. He enjoyed playing at the tables, his favorite game was Craps.
David is survived by his children, David L. (Carol) Adolph, Jackie Adolph, Janet Adolph-Bloom, and
Susan Adolph; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy June Musil, and his beloved
dog Henry. plus many extended family and friends.
David was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel (Wilmoth) Adolph, his parents; grandson, Ramsey
Buxman; siblings, Robert, Louise, and Margaret.

Visitation and a light lunch will be held from 12-2 pm, Saturday, February 16th, followed by Life
Celebration Service at 2pm, all at Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 47th Avenue in Greeley.
