Obituary for Nathan Hawkins

Nathan  Hawkins
Nathan H. Hawkins, 94, of Greeley passed away on Friday, November 3, 2017 at Life Care Center. He was born October 1, 1923 on the family homestead west of Pierce, CO to Earl and Ethel (Mock) Hawkins.

He was a graduate of Pierce High School and then married June Bott on February 4, 1945 in Fort Collins. They celebrated 72 years together.

Nathan served in the U.S. Army during World War II from February 19, 1945 until he was honorably discharged on July 15, 1946.

He worked for Great Western Sugar Company over 30 years before retiring.

He is survived by his wife, June as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.

Rest in peace. We love you, Nathan.

Private burial will take place at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Collins. Memorial gifts may be made to a charity of choice in care of Adamson, 2000 47th Ave., Greeley, CO 80634. Friends may leave condolences at adamsoncares.com.
