Obituary for Maria De Rodriguez
Maria De Rodriguez, 89, of Greeley, CO passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017. Maria was born on March 26, 1928 in LaPaz, Gran Moreles, Chihuahua, Mexico to Guadalupe Flores and Maria Jesus Chacon.
She grew up in Mexico and has lived in the United States for 30 years.
Maria was very religious, she prayed all day, and love to attend church retreats. She also enjoyed cooking, traveling, being around her family, and attending family functions.
She was a member of Templo de Fatima in Mexico and attended Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Greeley.
Maria is survived by her children, Rosa Maria (Gilberto) Andazola of Greeley, Lucia (Manuel) Duran of Colorado Springs, CO, Mario (Marisol) Rodriguez of Chihuahua, Mexico, Margarita Galindo of Quauhtemoc, Mexico, and Javier Rodriguez of Chihuahua, Mexico; 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sisters, Estela Flores, Eulogia Flores, Maxima Flores; and brother, Manuel Flores.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lizandro Rodriguez; son, Hector Rodriguez; sister, Aurelia Flores; and brother, Guadalupe Flores.
Recitation of the Rosary will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Adamson Life Celebration Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at La Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de Fatima in Mexico.
