Obituary for Charles L. "Chuck" Bartlett
Charles “Chuck” Bartlett 76, of Greeley, CO was born in Scottsbluff, NE on July 9, 1941 to Melvin Bartlett and Katherine Bell Bartlett, and passed peacefully on October 24, 2017 in Greeley.
An Army veteran, Chuck was known as a “Banker at Heart,” but his passion was making wooden toys for children. He loved fishing, especially with “the boys,” the Denver Broncos, and his family. He also had a great sense of humor, and was known for his sponge cakes (made from real sponges, and annual whipped cream fights. He was a loving husband and father, with a gentle spirit who will be sorely missed.
He is survived by his brother, Ron Bartlett; and sister, Jody Larsen; his wife, Justine Frances Worley whom he married on August 26, 1989; his four children, Shelly Bartlett and husband Sid, Scott Bartlett and wife Kimberly, Jennifer Linindoll and husband Mark, and Amanda Prescott and husband Michael; along with eight grandchildren, Ryan and wife Kelly, Colten, Alexandra, Bryce, Keeley, Kylie, Gabrielle and Elizabeth; and great granddaughter, Bailey.
The family would like to thank the staff at Fair Acres Manor for all the wonderful love and care they gave Papa over the last four and a half years.
Life Celebration Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 3, 2017 at Adamson Chapel.
