Obituary for Ronald Lee Zuhlke, Sr.
Ronald Lee Zuhlke, Sr., 66, of Firestone, CO passed away May 23, 2015.
Ronald “Ron” was born in Sterling, CO to Benjamin and Sophia Zuhlke on March 29, 1949. He was very proud of his time served in the Army and representing our country as a war medic in Vietnam. He continued his commitment and dedication by being a member of both the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and made friends wherever he went. Ron is survived by his wife, Diann (Beachler) Zuhlke; his three children, Tammy Smith, Ronald (Heidi) Zuhlke, Jr. and Daniel (Melissa) Zuhlke; his eleven grandchildren, Brittany, Austin, Ezekiel, Cerenity, Kaylie, Shyann, Benjamin, Brayden, Cadan, Ariana, and Royce; his siblings, Joan Zimmerman, Frances Rhodes, Jerry (Pat) Zuhlke and Don (Madeline) Zuhlke; and many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jack Zuhlke; brother-in-laws, Ralph “Buzz” Rhodes and Willard Zimmerman; and his great-nephew, Cole Rhodes.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Adamson Chapel.
